Nichols, Troy Gene T.J., Jr., 18 Troy Gene Nichols, Jr., son of Troy Gene Nichols, Sr. and Julia Ann Brummett Nichols, was born March 11, 1989 in Phoenix, Arizona. He departed this life Saturday, June 16, 2007, in his home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of eighteen years, three months, and five days. A sister, Amanda Lee Waisanen, preceded him in death. T.J., as he was called by his family and friends, is survived by his father, Troy Gene Nichols, Sr., of Lebanon, Missouri; his mother, Julia Ann Nichols, of the home; his step-father, Elmer Keel, of Lebanon, Missouri; a brother, Carl Waisanen II, and his wife, Krista, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; a sister, April Waisanen, and her fiancé, Jason Dailey, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; his maternal grandparents, Gary and Jane Dunn, of Wittmann, Arizona; two nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. He was born and raised in Arizona, and then at the age of twelve, moved with his family to South Dakota. In 2005, the family moved to Lebanon, Missouri, where T.J. worked helping his father in the construction business for a few years. T.J. had made his profession of faith in Christ and was ready to meet his Maker. He had attended Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church in Lebanon. He had a brilliant mind and loved mechanical things. He had appreciation for antique cars and also liked designing cars. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. T.J. was a loving son, brother, grandson, and uncle, and was a good friend to many. Although his life was short in years, he created many wonderful memories for his family and friends. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2007, in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Lebanon. Burial will be in Mount Rose Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until service time. Memorials may be made through the funeral home.
