Taber, Phillip L. Billy, 27 Phillip Lee “Billy” Taber, son of Billy Ronald and Polly Ann (Davis) Taber, was born August 18, 1979, in Branson, Missouri. He departed this life Friday, June 29, 2007, in St. John’s Regional Medical Center, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of twenty-seven years, ten months, and eleven days. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy, on May 15, 2000; his maternal grandfather, Jake Davis; his paternal grandparents, Arthur and Alta Taber; and a niece, Kendra Brook Carter. Billy is survived by his mother, Polly, of the home; three sisters, Lisa Irmen, and her husband, Bruce, of Rogersville, Missouri, Natalie Carter, and her husband, Jerry, of Tecumseh, Missouri, and Stephanie Holloway, and her husband, James, of Branson, Missouri; his grandmother, Verna Davis; ten nieces and nephews, Jessica, Chance, and Nicole Irmen, Owen and Hannah Carter, Amoret, Cage, Landon, Mackenzie, and Macy Holloway; his loving friend, Angie Collins, and her children, Seth and Lydia Collins; a number of aunts and uncles; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. He was raised in the Theodosia area and graduated from Lutie High School. After graduation he worked a variety of jobs and was a jack of all trades. Billy made his profession of belief in Christ and followed the Baptist Faith. He centered his life on his family and had a loving soul and kind spirit. In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, woodworking, carving, car races, and loved motorcycles. Billy was a loving son, brother, grandson, and uncle and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories he has created for his family and friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2007, in Lutie Cemetery, Theodosia, Missouri. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4 - 6:00 p.m. under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Hartville, Missouri. Memorials may be made through the funeral home.
