ina Kathryn Davis, age 91, of Bolivar, Missouri passed away on Sunday evening at 7:00pm, November 29, 2009 at the Citizen’s Memorial Healthcare Facility in Bolivar, Missouri. She was born December 17, 1917 in Cedar County, Missouri to George Mahon Miller and Eliza Belle (Odell) Miller. Sina was a wonderful homemaker and mother and in her early years had once worked in the kitchen at the Fair Play School and for a nursing home near Bolivar. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. On December 23, 1940, Sina married Loren E. Davis in Fair Play, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren on March 23, 1977, her parents, two daughters, Lenora Mae Davis in 1941, Martha Sue Davis in 1962, two sons, Bernard Lee Davis in 1967, Loren Eldon Davis in 1985, two sisters, Iva Guiner, Marie Witt, two son-in-laws, Rex D. Mead in 1996 and John Ragsdale in 1990. Sina is survived by her two daughters, Wilma Mead and Mary Lou Ragsdale both of Bolivar, Missouri, one son, George Davis and his wife Helen of Neosho, Missouri, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, December 3, 2009 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri with Elder Dean Winfiel officiating. Musical selections will be “Trust and Obey”, “Amazing Grace”, and “Precious Memories”. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery south of Fair Play, Missouri under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00pm, Wednesday evening at the Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Bolivar. Pallbearers will be Robbie Mead, Junior Davis, Frank Davis, Wesley Davis, Pete Davis, Ted Rovenstine, Shawn Hoffman, Ronnie Harman and Johnnie Ragsdale.
