Ivan Todd (Hartville)'s Obituary
Ivan Preston Todd, son of the late Howard and Lorraine (Pearman) Todd, born on October 5, 1949, at Hartville, Missouri; he departed this life February 12, 2021, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, at the age of seventy-one years, four months and seven days.
On July 5, 1996 at Laverne's Wedding Chapel in Miami, Oklahoma Ivan married Paula Nelson, daughter of the late Chester and Jane Benton, and she survives of the home at Hartville, Missouri. Also surviving are his children, Katie Jewsome and her husband Samuel of Kansas City, Missouri, Adam Todd of Hartville, Missouri, Michael Nelson and his wife Angela of Springfield, Missouri and Andrea Lane and her husband Nathan of Buffalo, Missouri, eight grandchildren; Jordan, Isabelle, Samarah, Stetson, Cody, Hunter, Ryne, Aaliyah, a brother, Charles Todd and his wife Phyllis of Willard, two sisters; Susan Mincks and her husband Bill of Springfield, Missouri and Gail Buttram and Wallace of Niangua, Missouri, a sister-in-law Barbara Graham and her husband Larry of Hartville, Missouri, nieces, nephews, other relatives , many friends and his personal 4-legged body guard, Gemma.
He was a member of Marshfield Church of Christ. Ivan was a jack of all trades, he was a barber, a trucker, a farmer and a carpenter. He enjoyed talking and reminiscing, cooking for his family and friends, trail riding, antiquing and caring for his animals.
Ivan was a caring husband, dedicated father, loving grandfather, brother, uncle and loyal friend. He will be fondly remembered; we take this time to honor his memory and celebrate his life and accomplishments. We will cherish the memories he created for us and treasure the moments spent with him. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Services for Ivan Todd will be held at a later date. Memorial donation may be made to Cold Water Cemetery through Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Hartville, P.O. Box 236, Hartville, MO 65667.
