Jack Hacker (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Jack R. Hacker, 91, Bolivar, MO, passed away, Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar. Jack was born March, 3, 1925 to Barney and Eula Cooper Hacker in Stockton, MO.
He served in both the United States Navy and the United States Air Force. He returned to Bolivar where he operated his own dental practice “Hacker Dental” for 38 years. Jack enjoyed many hobbies including golfing and horses. His love for horses inspired him to establish Spring Valley Cattle Ranch. He truly enjoyed working with horses. His enjoyment for golf stated at a young age, learning to play in high School. A game that brought him joy all the way up to this last January, where he played his last round at nearly 91 years of age.
Jack is survived by his four children, David Hacker and his wife Dana, Betsy Wahl, Susan Hoffmeister and her husband Kurt and Jim Hacker and his wife Shelia; sister, Wanda Allen; sister-in-law, Inazetta Hacker; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren with two on the way.
