Jacqueline Dinwiddie's Obituary
Jacqueline L. Dinwiddie, daughter of John Larwood and Rose Amanda (Eklund) Alcorn, was born November 24, 1941, in Seymour, Missouri. She departed this life Tuesday, October 28, 2008, in St. John’s Regional Health Center, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-six years, eleven months, and four days. She was preceded in death by her parents. Jackie is survived by a son, Gary Huckaby, and his wife, Lexie, of Indian Trail, North Carolina; a daughter, Tina Davis, and her husband, Mark, of Grovespring, Missouri; her longtime companion, Richard Dinwiddie, of the home; two stepdaughters, Lisa Burney, and her husband, Kevin, and Lori Ryan, all of Lebanon, Missouri; four grandchildren, Rodney Davis, Courtney Davis, Madison Davis, and Kayla Davis; four step-grandchildren, Lacey Scrivner, Wendell Headley, Jr., Morgan Headley, and Austin Thomas; a step-great-grandchild, Daccota Scrivner; as well as a host other relatives and many dear friends. She was born and raised in Seymour, and graduated from Seymour High School in the Class of 1959. She spent most of her life in Seymour and had lived in Springfield and Marshfield for a short time. She had worked for Frisco Railroad as an accounting clerk for many years. Jackie had made her profession of faith in Christ and was a member of United Methodist Church, of Seymour. She centered her life on her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking care of her dog “Skunk”. In her spare time she enjoyed working on family genealogy and watching birds. Jackie was a kind and caring person with a big heart and has touched the lives of many. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she has created for her family and friends. Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday November 1, 2008 at the Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Seymour.Burial will be in the Seymour Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday Evening 7-8:00 pm under the direction of the Holman-Howe Funeral Home Seymour, Missouri. Return to top
