Jacqueline Sproat (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Jacqueline Noel Sproat was born March 3, 1971, in Trippler Army Hospital in Oahu, Hawaii, to Wayne C. Pressley and Jennie Kay Watson Pressley. She passed away Monday, April 13, 2026 in Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. She was fifty-five years, one month and ten days of age.
Following her dad’s time in the service, the family moved to Dexter, Missouri where Jacqueline was raised. She graduated from Dexter High School and earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Graphic Design. While living in Dexter, she became a member of First Baptist Church in Dexter and followed the Baptist faith throughout her life.
On July 22, 1995, Jacqueline was united in marriage to Jay Sproat. They would eventually move to Lebanon, Missouri where she owned and operated CCYDNE Hobbies (Cheap Crap You Don’t Need Enterprises) for thirteen years.
Jacqueline is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her loving husband of over thirty years, Jay; two sons, Jacob Sproat of Lebanon, Missouri and Trey Sessoms of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; three step-sisters, Trina Gow Beck of Rector, Arkansas, Dana Gow and her husband Patrick of Missouri and Laura Gow Rogers and her husband Jeff of Columbia, South Carolina; a half-sister, Annie Rieffer and her husband Tom of Springfield, Missouri; and her step-father, Larry Gow of Ozark, Missouri.
Jacqueline worked for FEMA for several years. She was a big gamer and was a part of several board game groups. She also was a member of Games and Manufacturers Association (GAMA).
Jacqueline was honored to have received the Missouri Conspicuous Service Medal in 2002. This medal was presented to her by Missouri Governor Bob Holden. She also served as a Captain in the Provisional Missouri State Guard. She had a great appreciation for history and was also a part of several World War II reenactments.
Jacqueline loved animals and had a special fondness for cows. She was a big fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Cardinals. Jacqueline was a well-rounded person who enjoyed many things, including cooking, guns and the theater.
We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and know that her family and friends will treasure the wonderful memories she made for them.
In lieu of flowers, the family has established a memorial to the Judevine Center for Autism. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
