Jailei Elaine Luke (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Jaylei Elaine Kerryellan Luke, daughter of Joshua and April Ward Luke, was born August 9, 2007, in Columbia, Missouri. She departed this life Saturday, September 28, 2019, in Mercy Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of twelve years, one month and nineteen days.
Jaylei was preceded in death by her great-great-grandmother, Doris Sherrer.
She is survived by her parents, Joshua and April Luke, of the home in Lebanon, Missouri; three sisters, Isabella, Chloe, and Maylee Luke, all of the home; her maternal grandparents, James and Maxine Sherrer, of Lebanon, Missouri; her paternal grandmother, Theresa Breaux, of the State of Louisiana; her maternal great-grandmother, Virgina Devore; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; her godfather, James Lewis Sherrer, of Lebanon, Missouri; her godmother, Rebecca Luke, of the State of Louisiana; special friends, Justin and Hope Teubner, of Lebanon, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.
She had lived all of her life in Lebanon, and attended Lebanon R-III Schools. She currently was in her sixth grade year in Lebanon Middle School.
Jailei had made her profession of faith in Christ and was baptized. Over the years, she had attended Emmanuel Chapel, Tabernacle Baptist Church and Heritage Baptist Church.
She enjoyed playing volleyball, skating, and fishing. She loved being with her friends and sharing fun activities on TikTok. Being outdoors with her dad was one of her favorite things. She was very artistic and liked doing wood burning projects and painting. She was very girly, loved pageants, and also was a bit of a tomboy. She loved her family dearly and was very close to her sisters.
Jailei was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, goddaughter, and was a very sweet and caring friend. She was dearly loved by her family and will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
