Jame s' Obituary
James Edward Peterson, Jr., age 34, of Pleasanton, Kansas entered into Heaven on June 25, 2009 in Bolivar, Missouri. He was born July 15, 1974 in Kansas City, Missouri to James Edward Peterson and Nancy Elaine Soriano. He had worked for Pennington Seed Company, Teters Floral, McConnell Construction, Saw Mill, Carpentry Work, Neil Manufacturing and Concrete Work. He was a very big fan of Nascar Tony Stewart, Kansas City Chiefs, Boxing, W.F.C & W.E.C. Ultimate Kick-Boxing, camping, loved spending quality time with his kids playing catch, riding bikes, and racing his son Chris and daughter, Olympia, up and down the street, just laughing and having a ball. He wrestled with all the kids in the neighborhood, and was always outdoors playing basketball. He was a kid at heart. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Peterson, grandparents, Ed Peterson, Ysaias Soriano, brother, John Peterson, and a mother-in-law, Mary Shepherd. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Peterson, daughters, Chaylynn, Destiny, Nevaeh, Olympia, sons, Kyle, Jacob, Christopher, grandmother, Norma Peterson, father, James Peterson, Sr., father-in-law, Nick Shepherd, Sr., and sisters, Misty Bowman and Maria Burris. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30pm, Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri with Pastor Mike Barry officiating. Musical selections will be “Patience” by Guns N’ Roses, “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts and “Immortal” by Everesence. A visitation will be held from Noon until service time at 1:30pm in the Butler Funeral Home at Bolivar, Missouri.
