James W. Brown (Buffalo)'s Obituary
James Wesley Brown, age 74, passed away on June 14, 2023, at his home in Long Lane, Missouri.
James was born on August 18, 1948, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to the late Thomas and Frances (Agent) Brown. He was united in marriage to Kay Brown on September 19, 1980. James enlisted in the United States Army in 1966. He served several tours in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in 1986 with 20 years of dedicated service. Following his time in the service, James became a truck driver. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved taking his grandchildren fishing and then ending the day with a Mr. Eds ice cream cone.
James was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Brown; his parents; and one granddaughter, Jasmine. He is survived by his children, Craig Ward & wife Laurie, Jeremey Ward, Adam Brown & wife Rebecca, Brandy Johnson & husband Carl; six grandchildren, Andra Brown, Nicholas Ward, Matthew Ward, Jessica Johnson, Jacob Brown, and Lily Brown; siblings, Janice Scully & husband Patrick, Rita Sears & husband Earl, Jessica Kennelly & husband William, Mildred Denise Horn Moore, Sharon Bedno & husband Kenneth, William Horn & wife Dawn, Michelle Horn, and Tracy Spaniel & husband John.
Cremation rites were accorded under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
