James Warren Galloway (Seymour)'s Obituary
James Warren Galloway, son of Howard P. and Madge J. (Anderson) Galloway, was born January 20, 1931 in Niangua, Missouri. He departed this life Wednesday, July 31, 2013 in his home in Seymour, Missouri at the age of eighty-two years, six months and eleven days.
Raised in the Seymour area, James loved the country life. He graduated from Rogersville High School in 1949. He faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict where he received the National Defense Service medal as well as the Good Conduct medal. After his honorable discharge James returned to the area. He worked as a machine operator for Dayco Industries and was a dairy farmer.
James was a member of the Church of Christ faith. He was also a member of the American Legion of Mansfield, Missouri for over 30 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Tom Galloway.
James is survived by several cousins and two dear friends, David Capon of Nixa, Missouri and Robert D. Byler of Seymour, Missouri.
We celebrate the life and accomplishments of James W. Galloway and will cherish the memories he created for each of us.
