James C. Grisaffe (Bolivar)'s Obituary
James C. Grisaffe transitioned from this earthly life into glory on November 15th, 2025. Born on February 12th, 1953, he lived a life full of joy, laughter, faith, and family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Rhonda Grisaffe; his children, Jamie Webb and husband Brandon Webb, and his son James Matthew Grisaffe and wife Josephine Grisaffe; and his grandchildren, Jaedyn Webb, Jacob Webb, and James Joseph Grisaffe. He is also survived by his brother Earl Grisaffe; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and those close to his heart: Kylee Sanchez, Addison Sanchez, and Joseph Van Timmeren. He was preceded in death by his father, Felix Grisaffe Sr.; his mother, Marie Grisaffe; his sister, Sonja Flick; and his brother, Felix (Phil) Grisaffe, Jr. James loved Jesus, loved his family, and loved life. A true Ragin’ Cajun with Holy Ghost joy, he loved dancing, laughing, worshipping, fishing, hunting, and spending time on the water—whether the ocean, the lake, or the bayou. His Louisiana spirit was bold, vibrant, and full of life. He cheered on the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers with the same passion he worshipped with—a heart full of fire. James touched every person he met. His spirit, kindness, and joy were contagious. Though he will be dearly missed, we rejoice knowing he is now whole, free, and dancing on streets of gold.
