James E. Jackson Sr. (Bolivar)'s Obituary
James Edward Jackson, Sr., age 88, of Bolivar, passed away early Sunday morning, August 24, 2014 at Citizen's Memorial Hospital, in Bolivar.
He was born on January 2, 1926, to John M. and Vivian (Kelly) Jackson, in Springfield, Missouri.
He spent many years as a local dairy farmer, and enjoyed woodworking.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Luella, and one son, James Edward Jackson, Jr.
James is survived by his wife, JoAnn Jackson, of the home; daughter, Lynne Warren, of Houston, Texas; daughter, Jane Ann Reed, of Mansfield, Texas; son, John Richard Jackson, of Lockwood, Missouri; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and three sisters, Norma Moore, Sarah Williams, and Mary Biggler.
