James "David" Keen (Lebanon)'s Obituary
James “David” Keen passed away Friday, October 27, 2023 in Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. At the time of his passing, he was sixty-nine years, eleven months and seven days of age.
David, as he was known by family and friends, was born November 20, 1953 in Lebanon, Missouri to Willard Keen and Joyce Myers. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School and attended two years of college, studying business.
He returned to Lebanon in the late 1980’s where he managed LeMo Cable Company. In the late 1980’s, he moved to Oregon. Most recently he had been in Aurora, Missouri.
David was preceded in death by his mother.
He is survived by his wife, Marsha Keen of the home; his son, Christopher Keen and his wife, Jana of Utah; his father, Willard Keen of Lebanon, Missouri; his brother, Tim Keen and his wife, Paula of Lebanon, Missouri; and five grandchildren, James, Hannah, Esther, Rachael and Bethany; his niece, Lindy and a nephew, Landon; his step-daughters, Connie Rollins and husband, Ronnie of Dixon, Missouri, Dana Williams of Kansas City, Missouri; two step-granddaughters, Ciara and Averie,
David enjoyed going on float trips, listening to music, cooking out and had traveled extensively.
He loved his family dearly and was so proud of his grandchildren. His loss is deeply felt by his family, and he will be so missed. We know that his memory lives on in them, in their memories, and in their love for each other.
A memorial to St. Jude's hospital has been established and donations may be made through the funeral home.
