James McGuire (Camdenton)'s Obituary
James Earl McGuire, son of John and Grace (Looney) McGuire, was born, September 15, 1936 in Camden County, Missouri. He departed this life on May 17, 2026 in Lebanon, Missouri at the age of eighty-nine years, eight months and two days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; children, Amy Jones, Doug McGuire, Joe McGuire; and siblings, Delbert, Larry, Johnny, Gary, Davey, Betty, Margorie, and three infant siblings.
James is survived by his daughter, Tammy Phelps; son, Todd McGuire; siblings, Crystal Burns, Francis Stamper, Linda Leffort, Wanda McGuire, Gene McGuire, Glen McGuire and Lester McGuire; his grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
James spent his entire life in Camden County and was a fixture in the community.
James was a member of Mount Horeb Church in Decaturville, Missouri.
In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. And, above all, enjoyed spending time with his family.
James was a loving and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Mount Horeb Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service in the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Mount Horeb Church and Cemetery Fund and left at the funereal home or mailed to Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, 15 Clint Ave. Camdenton, Missouri 65020.
