James Schaffrodt's Obituary
James Edward Schaffrodt, age 92 of Bolivar, MO passed away at 10:23 A.M. Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the Parkview Healthcare Facility in Bolivar after a brief illness. Mr. Schaffrodt was born on March 5, 1917 in Brooklyn, NY the son of Frederick Schaffrodt and Mary (Bryne) Schaffrodt. Mr. Schaffrodt was of the Catholic Faith and was a retired Metallurgical Engineer for the Bucyrus-Erie Corporation of Milwaukee, WI. He had been a resident of Bolivar for the past 3 years moving here from Lacomb, LA. Surviving is his daughter, Susan Lynch and husband J. D. of Bolivar; his son, James Bradley Schaffrodt of Lafayette, LA and a brother Frederick Schaffrodt of Brooklin, NY. Also 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.AC Memorial services are pending at this time but will be announced by the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar, Missouri.
