James Allen Sewards (Seymour)'s Obituary
James Allen Sewards, son of Mamie Oleta Murphy, was born December 16, 1940, in Seymour, Missouri. He departed this life Saturday, July 5, 2014.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Murphy; and two brothers, Bill Browning and Buster Cantrell.
James is survived by his wife, Lena Kay Sewards; son, Terry L. Treat and wife, Beverly and family; daughters, Theresa Wilkerson and husband, Keith and family; Susan Kenny and husband, Michael and family; Cindy Sewards and husband, Gary Murdock and family; twelve grandchildren, four great grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends. He will be forever and always loved and missed.
Nicholson Funeral Home in Statesville, NC, attended the family for services there. Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Seymour will have a memorial service for Mr. Sewards on Sunday, July 13, 2014, at 2PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Goss Cemetery.
