James M. Spangler (Lebanon)'s Obituary
James M. Spangler, 98, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, in Mercy Hospital Lebanon.
He was born July 27, 1917, in Chicago, Ill.
He was united in marriage to Betty Cavalier, who preceded him in death. He then married Dorothy Haupt, who preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by his father, John Jacob Spangler, and five siblings.
He was raised near Chicago, in the Downer’s Grove and Naperville areas. He was employed in the office of AT & T for 42 years, before retiring. He then lived in California and other locations before coming to Lebanon 15 years ago. He liked doing stained glass projects and crafts of all kinds. He also was gifted at watch repair.
