James Trenary (Bolivar)'s Obituary
James Andrew Trenary, age 71, of Bolivar, Missouri, passed away on January 12, 2017, after a short illness.
Jim Trenary was the son of Floyd and Ruby Trenary, and was born on February 10th, 1945 in Peckham, OK. He attended Newkirk High School before entering the US Air Force. While in the Air Force, he married Kathryn Sedovic and they had two daughters, Sharon and Julie. Upon separating from the Air Force, he settled in Springfield, MO. Throughout the course of his life he was employed at Foremost Dairy, Bass Pro Shop, and “the farm.” In 1990, he married Karen Rose.
Jim is survived by his wife Karen, his sister Marilyn, both of Bolivar, MO, his daughter, Sharon Livingston of Springfield, MO, and Julie Hodges and her husband Charles, of Clovis, NM; grandchildren Duncan and Eli Livingston of Springfield, MO and Jonathan, Catherine, and Nathaniel Hodges of Clovis, NM, and many other family and friends.
Jim was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman and will be remembered for his sense of humor, hard-working spirit, and love of family, friends, and fishing.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at the Butler Funeral Home, in Bolivar. Memorial service will immediately follow at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Al Geil officiating.
