James "Jim" Tutt (Mansfield)'s Obituary
James Ernest “Jim” Tutt, son of Ernest James and Helen Mae Henry Tutt, was born August 20, 1941, in Hartville, Missouri, and departed this life on April 1, 2019, at James River Nursing and Rehabilitation in Springfield, Missouri at the age of seventy-seven years, seven months and eleven days.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Joan Bledsoe, brother, John Henry Tutt, and a nephew, Mike Bledsoe.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Kelly Tutt and Jon Batcheller, of Sparta, Missouri; four grandchildren, Nicholas Boykin and Lacy Holt and husband, Shannon, all of Sparta, Kaitlyn Branham of Nixa and Adreanna Branham of Ozark; four great-grandchildren, Braylee Boykin, Ryker Boykin, Willow Ocampo and Zahara Branham; sister, Theda Rush and husband, Bob, of Mansfield; sister-in-law, Donna Tutt, of Mansfield; four nephews, Bobby Bledsoe, Mark Rush, Kevin Rush and Brad Tutt.
He was born in Hartville but lived his entire life in Mansfield. He was a graduate of Mansfield High School in the Class of 1960. He worked for his brother, John, delivering fuel oil for Tutt Oil Company for many years.
Jim had made a profession of faith in Christ just a few months ago and was a member of the Mansfield First Assembly of God Church.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, bowling, softball and sitting outside Town and Country Supermarket greeting and visiting with friends.
We celebrate his life and are comforted knowing that his struggles in this life are over.
