Jim was a really good guy. A kind man. He had a good sense of humor. I remember as a kid he an his son would go to the stock car races at the Champaign County Fairgrounds. I really enjoyed being with them.

I am so sorry to read about Jim's passing. I worked with Jim at the University of Illinois. Jim was always so upbeat, and friendly. I really enjoyed working with him. We even carpooled to work a couple of years,as we lived close to each other.
