Please accept my sincere condolences in your loss. I only learned today of Bob's passing. We had the pleasure of working together for many many years in quiz bowl. Bob was a special friend and colleague...we shared many phone calls(he in Missouri, me in Oklahoma) discussing amazing students and question writing/coaching strategies. I will miss his hearty laugh and quick mind. May the Lord lift you up now and in the coming days, as you miss him dearly. Kathy Cloud
Bob is glowing up in Heaven because he knows everyone loved him. What an awesome memory this obituary is for the entire family. I cannot stop smiling for Aunt Ellen and Uncle Jim and for you Dale Renee. I am so sorry to have never met him. What a wonderful man to have made such an impression on so many....

This news was heartbreaking to receive. To me, he was immortal and he'll always be my 30 year old pal. I used to love it when I was singled out by him to be picked on. It made me feel alive and important when I normally hid in the shadows. When we announced our 30th Reunion, a number of us thought "Wouldn't it be great if we could find Mr Brown and get him to come?" Well, we found him, and he came, and it was very special. Thanks Mr Brown for the memories.
Mr. Brown was more than just a teacher to alot of his students at Richland. He was their friend. They could go to him and talk to him about anything. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family here in the Richland community. To his parents and sister I am sorry for your lose. May god put his arms around your family and help to bring you comfort thru this time. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless
Mr. Brown was an AMAZING man and a greater teacher I am sad to see a loss of such a man who taught me many amazing things in life.
To Mr. Brown's family -
I'm so deeply sorry for your loss. I had Mr. Brown for Geology in Jr. High, and for Chemistry in HS at Chouteau, and survived both due to his patient teaching, and joking. I also got to know him as a coworker of my parents' and therefore saw him in a different light as well - not just as a teacher. I know that in this time of sudden and unexpected loss, there is nothing that anyone can say to make the pain just go away. But hopefully, the desire of all of Mr. Brown's friends and former students to share how he impacted their lives will in and of itself ease some of your pain. It's easy to see from these posts that Mr. Brown had an impact on so many people and was a blessing in many lives. Your family is in my prayers during this difficult time.
