On April 1, 2012, Jim was united in marriage to Cindy Kay Curran.
His father, and a brother, Robert Eugene “Bob” Wynn, preceded Jim in death.
Jim is survived by his wife, Cindy of the home; children, James D. Wynn and wife Cheryl of Harrison, Arkansas, Tim Wynn of Hartville, Missouri, Kim Wynn of Ozark, Missouri, and Jessica House and husband Brandon of Philipsburg, Missouri; ten grandchildren; a grand-puppy Baxter; his mother Aleene Wynn of Hartville, Missouri; siblings, Jeanie Ducusin and husband Rick of Hartville, Missouri, Bill Wynn and wife Beverly of Hartville, Missouri, and Jerry Wynn of Licking, Missouri; many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
Jim spent most of his life in the Hartville area, and was a graduate of Hartville High School in the Class of 1967. He worked at various jobs throughout his life and worked for over fifteen years at Hutchens Steel Plant in Mansfield. He had also served two terms as a city councilman for the City of Hartville.
He had accepted Christ as his Savior and was attending Hilltop Pentecostal Church at the time of his passing.
Jim had a passion for cars and enjoyed driving his Camaro, when the weather allowed him to do so. He cherished the time spent with his family, and enjoyed going to the farm with his brother, Bill. He had a caring heart and was always checking in on his children and grandchildren.
Jim was a caring husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories he has created for his family and many dear friends.
God must have had a good sense of humor, because he gave us Jim. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above.” James 1:17.
