Jamie Louise Davidson, 86, of Bolivar, MO passed from this life to the next on August 24, 2015.
Jamie lived at home with her husband Wallace and is now welcomed into the loving arms of her Savior and many loved ones.
Jamie was born Jamie Louise Austin on December 10, 1928 in Hunter, OK where she grew up on the wheat farms of the North Central Oklahoma prairie. She was the youngest of seven children born to Arthur and Mable Austin. In 1939 at the age of 11 Jamie moved with her family to Sacramento, California where she attended school and graduated from McClatchy High School in 1947.
She met her husband, Wallace (Wally) Frank Davidson one day as she accompanied her mother to their friend’s dairy to pick up some laying hens. Wally was working at the dairy in return for his board and room and they each remember thinking how good looking the other one was. A romance soon followed by a wedding on August 5, 1951. Wallace says he has loved Jamie for 66 years and has been married to her for 64 years. They just celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on Aug 5th of this year.
Jamie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints and showed her faith each day through her unselfish acts of love and service to those around her. She enjoyed raising her four children on the family ranch in Acampo, CA. through her example her children learned the values of hard work, honesty and kindness.
Jamie is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a sister, her daughter, Victoria Lynn, a grandson and great granddaughter.
She is survived by her husband Wallace and children, Darrel Clyde of Boulder City, NV Donald Lee (Lori) of Elk Grove, CA and daughter Linda Marie (John) of Bolivar, MO, 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, a brother, Merle of Sacrament, CA and a sister Elsie of Bolivar, MO.
