Jamie Dale Warden (Seymour)'s Obituary
Jamie Dale Warden was born on September 23, 1933, in Rogersville, Missouri, to Benjamin Wiley and Margaret Lee (Mincks) Warden. He departed this life on February 14, 2014, at Glenwood Healthcare in Seymour, Missouri, at the age of 80 years, four months and twenty-two days.
Mr. Warden lived most of his life in the Rogersville area and worked many years at Dayco in Springfield. Jamie was a veteran of the United States Navy, receiving a National Defense Service Medal and a Good Conduct Medal.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by a sister, Misty Brogan; a brother, Robert Warden; and a special friend, Lola Rachal.
Jamie had a great sense of humor and always teased and joked with others. He enjoyed playing all types of games, including Bingo and cards. Visiting with friends at the coffee shop and enjoying the outdoors in nice weather were also some of his favorite pastimes.
Mr. Warden was a spiritual person and enjoyed attending church services “anywhere you could worship the Lord.” He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered as a witty gentleman.
