Janice Cagle (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Janice Dee Roller was born November 11, 1946 in Washburn, Missouri, the first child of Joe D. Roller and Mary Marguerite Varner-Roller. She grew up in Seligman, Missouri and graduated Valedictorian of the class of 1964, Southwest High School at Washburn. She married Willis M. Cagle on June 6, 1964.
Janice and Willis made their home in various small towns in southwest Missouri. They lived on their family farm in the Morrisville area from 1971 through the summer of 1984. During that time, she worked at a law firm and then Polk County Bank. In 1984, the family moved to Diamond, Missouri and thereafter, she graduated cum laude from Missouri Southern State University. In 1987, she became a Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) and practiced in Joplin, Missouri.
In 1990, Janice moved to Stockton, Missouri with her family and started her own accounting firm. Later, she became the Public Administrator for Cedar County and held that position along with her accounting practice until early 2012. Throughout her life, Janice was deeply involved in various community organizations. She made a lasting impact in many peoples’ lives. She was known for many things including her homemade cinnamon rolls and big smile.
Janice is survived by her husband, Willis M. Cagle of Stockton, Missouri; her daughter Jo E. Cagle of St. Louis, Missouri; son, Zane T. Cagle and his wife, Lee of St. Louis, Missouri. She leaves two grandchildren, Aiko L. Cagle and Kai M. Cagle. She is also survived by three siblings: Danny Roller and his wife, LaVerna of Exeter, Missouri; Wesley Roller and his wife, Karen of Washburn, Missouri; Molly McKay and her husband, Lowell of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Janice Dee Cagle passed at 3:40 p.m. on July 18, 2017.
