Janice Faye Fowler (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Janice Faye Fowler was born May 10, 1951 to Charles and Juanita Myers Dampier in Lebanon, Missouri. She passed away in her Lebanon, Missouri home Monday, December 23, 2024 at the age of seventy-three years, seven months and thirteen days.
Janice was raised in Lebanon and at the age of thirteen, met Steve Fowler, and they have enjoyed a love story that has spanned sixty years. She graduated from Lebanon High School in the class of 1969 and on December 18, 1969, she and Steve were married.
Janice spent many years as a homemaker, raising their two children, Jennifer and Jeffrey. She loved the domestic life and always had a wonderful meal on the table. She will be remembered for the great love she had for her family and the many memories she created for them.
She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-five years, Steve Fowler; her daughter, Jennifer Thayer and her husband Ted of Lebanon, Missouri; and four precious grandchildren, Lindsey Jackson, Mackenzie Sides and her husband Cody, Christopher Jackson and Cody Fowler; and many friends.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Juanita and her son, Jeffrey.
Janice was raised in the Baptist faith.
After the children were raised, she enjoyed spending time with Steve and his work as they traveled all over the country. While these were good memories, she was always ready to get home and spend time with the children and grandchildren.
Janice was known for the wonderful rolls she made. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching CSI and Viking movies.
Most of all, Janice enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, delighting in their daily lives and accomplishments. She lived a good life and will be dearly missed.
Funeral service for Janice Faye Fowler will be Friday, December 27, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon. Visitation will be Thursday evening, December 26 from 5 - 7 p.m.. Burial will be in Mount Rose Memorial Park. A memorial to St. Jude's has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
