Janice Ginnings' Obituary
Janice Faye Ginnings, daughter of Troy Richard and Roma Waterman Mosier, was born June 10, 1943, in Eldridge, Missouri. She departed this life Monday, January 2, 2006, in her home, near Eldridge, Missouri, at the age of sixty-two years, six months, and twenty-two days. On June 9, 1967, she was united in marriage to Joe D. Ginnings, and to this union one daughter was born. Her parents, and a brother, Billy Gene Mosier, preceded her in death. Janice is survived by her husband, Joe, of the home; a daughter, Roma F. Lucas, and her husband, Daren, of Lebanon, Missouri; two grandsons, Brandon and Tyler; a brother, Tommy Mosier, of Lebanon, Missouri; a sister, Janie Weber, and her husband, LeRoy, of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was born and raised in the Eldridge community and went to Eldridge Elementary School until 9th grade, then attended Lebanon RIII Schools. After she and Joe were married, they made their home in the Eldridge area and lovingly raised their daughter. In addition to being a devoted homemaker to her family, Janice worked for the H. D. Lee Company for several years, and then had been employed by the Shepherd Hills Factory Outlet Store. Janice had made her profession of faith in Christ and had attended Trinity Full Gospel Church in Eldridge. In her spare time she enjoyed growing beautiful flowers and liked visiting with her friends and neighbors. She was a fan of Elvis Presley and enjoyed both his movies and his music. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed her grandsons. Janice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she created for her family and friends. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2006, in the Holman-Howe Chapel. Burial will be in the Hufft Cemetery, near Eldridge. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 7 - 8:30 p.m. under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri. A memorial has been established and contributions may be made through the funeral home.
