Janice Faye Johnson (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Janice Faye Johnson, daughter of Everett and Mary Jane Appleberry Johnson, was born December 21, 1953, in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Thursday, February 2, 2017, in her home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-three years, one month, and eleven days.
Her father preceded her in death.
Janice is survived by two daughters, Janie Lillard, and her husband, Philip, and Charity Williams, and her husband, Kerry, all of Lebanon, Missouri; two sons, Travis Bethel, and his wife, Jeanie, and Troy Bethel, Jr., and his wife, Chrissy, all of Lebanon, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren, Ally, Alleah, Tyler, Spence, Zach, Anthony, Tyler, Christopher, Brianna, Ruben, Naomi, Hailie, Kyla, Kara, and Kinzlye; three great-grandchildren, Tucker, London, and Ireland; her mother, Mary Jane Johnson, of Lebanon, Missouri; three brothers, Bill Johnson, and his wife, Denise, Cecil Johnson, and his wife, Edie, and Bobby Johnson, all of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Lebanon, Missouri area, and lived most of her life in and around Lebanon. Through the years, she was a devoted homemaker to her family, and had also worked for the H. D. Lee Company and most recently, for Emerson Climate Technologies, LLC in Lebanon.
In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting and doing various craft projects. She was an avid player of video games and spent a lot of her time perfecting her gaming skills. She was a very quiet, independent person with a generous heart and a deep inner strength. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Janice was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
Memorial donations to Community Baptist Church may be made through the funeral home.
