Jannie Sue Wallace (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Jannie Sue Wallace, daughter of James Allen and Nera Vern Seaton Eidson, was born October 20, 1951 in Macks Creek, Missouri. She departed this life Wednesday, June 25, 2014, in her home, Macks Creek, Missouri, at the age of sixty-two years, eight months, and five days.
On February 8, 1980, Jannie was united in marriage to Eugene Wallace and together they shared thirty-years of marriage until his passing on June 28, 2010.
Jannie was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, David Christensen and Kyle Wallace; and two brothers, Jerry and Pete Eidson.
She is survived by her children, Daniel Christensen, Jr., of Macks Creek, Missouri, Kimberly Cullen and her significant other Thomas Morris, of Halfway, Missouri, Dustin Wallace and wife Amy, of Macks Creek, Missouri, Cassandra Wallace and her significant other, Chris Reed of Macks Creek, Missouri, and Kenny Wallace of Macks Creek, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her siblings, Jim Eidson and wife Vickie, of Linn Creek, Missouri, Judy Riley and husband Bud, of Macks Creek, Missouri, and Gary Eidson and wife Cecelia, of Camdenton, Missouri; a number of nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
Jannie was born in Macks Creek, and spent the majority of her life living in the area. She proudly served as a Captain on the Southwest Camden County Fire Protection District and was voted as “Responder of the Year” by her fellow firefighters many times throughout her career.
She was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church and was baptized with her brothers and sister on May 20, 1962.
In her spare time, Jannie enjoyed fishing, running fire calls, helping people, and spending time with her family and friends.
Jannie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and many dear friends.
Memorial donations to the family can be left at the funeral home.
