Jason Allen Goring Sr. (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Jason Allen Goring, Sr., son of Jerry Goring, Sr. and Cheryl Palmer Goring, was born February 20, 1976, in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He departed this life Sunday, October 23, 2022, in his home, near Eldridge, Missouri, at the age of forty-six years, eight months, and three days.
On March 20, 2021, he was united in marriage to Susan Benson, and they shared one year of happiness and memories.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Tamara Finley.
Jason is survived by his loving wife, Susan, of the home; a daughter, Bethany Galler, of Lebanon, Missouri; three sons, Jason Goring, Jr., Cody Goring, and Hendrix Benson, all of Lebanon, Missouri; four grandchildren, Orion, Everleigh, Isaiah and Darius Williams; and two eagerly anticipated; his father, Jerry Goring, Sr., of Lebanon, Missouri; his mother, Cheryl Goring, of Falcon, Missouri; a brother, Jerry Goring, Jr., of Lebanon, Missouri; a sister, Kimberly Hanes, of Sedalia, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born in Wisconsin, and moved with his family to Lebanon, Missouri, when he was one year old. He attended the Lebanon R-III Schools. He established a construction company at the age of eighteen and worked in construction his entire life. He liked taking care of his construction equipment.
In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activities where fishing, hunting, and riding his 4-wheeler as well as showing his many Mustangs at car shows. He was a kind person who was always willing to help someone in need. His life rotated around his family and his business. He loved his family dearly and also cared deeply for his dogs, “Gru”, “Cinnamon”, “Midnight”, “Sadie”, “Fawn” and “Pickles”. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family.
Jason was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and was a caring friend. We celebrate his life and know that his family and friends will hold tight to the wonderful memories he made with them during his lifetime.
A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society and donations may be made through the funeral home.
