Jason Anderson Jones (Urbana)'s Obituary
Jason Anderson Jones, age 41, entered into rest on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
Jason was born on June 11, 1982, in Camden County, Missouri to the late Margaret (Jones) James. Jason was a graduate of Skyline High School. He worked as a carpenter most of his life. Jason served in the United States Army from 2009 to 2011.
On July 22, 2021, Jason was united in marriage to Tina Millbern. Together they blended their families into one. Jason was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend.
Jason was preceded by his mother Margaret James, grandfather Ransom “Ike” Jones, and brother Lindsey James. He is survived by his wife Tina Jones, children Hope Kates, Matthew Jones, Sara Jones, stepchildren Hunter Millbern, Carter Millbern, Conner Millbern, and Blake Millburn, two brothers Clinton James and Toby James, one sister Angela Dampier, grandmother Betty Jones, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Cantlon-Otterness and Viets Funeral Home, Urbana. Visitation will be held the evening prior, Friday July 14, 2023, from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Following services, Jason will be laid to rest at Mission Ridge Cemetery in Urbana, Missouri. At the cemetery, Jason will receive full military honors.
