Jay Leslie Myers (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Jay Leslie Myers was born June 23, 1952 in Lebanon, Missouri, to Howard and Dolores Storm Myers. He passed away in Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. At the time of his passing, he was seventy-one years, four months and twenty-two days.
Jay was born and raised in the Brownfield Community and graduated from Stoutland High School. He made his home in Falcon, Missouri. On September 19, 1986, he married Janie Lorene Wilson. Together they made many wonderful memories in their thirty-seven years of marriage.
Jay was preceded in death by his father, Howard Myers; two brothers-in-law, Skip Myers and Carlos Shaver; and an infant sister, Londa Gail Myers.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janie, of the home; a daughter, Janice Lloyd and her husband, Dwayne of Minnesota; two grandchildren, Jadyn Spalding and Brilen Myers; and two sisters, Karen Semsch and her husband, Randy of Lebanon, Missouri and Sheila Shaver of Grovespring, Missouri.
Jay loved living and working on his farm. He also was good at working on small engines and he helped countless people with their small engine repairs. His life revolved around his work. He enjoyed visiting with his friends and was always willing to help his neighbors with the different projects they had going on.
Though he may no longer be physically present, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
