Jeanette Peterie (Bolivar) 's Obituary
Jeannete Peterie, 91, of Bolivar, MO passed away Saturday, December 24th, 2016 at CMH Care Facility in Bolivar, MO.
Jeannete was born November 17, 1925 to Wallace and Oneita Hainline. Jeannete lived the life of a frontier woman, helping on the farm with few luxuries. She moved to California to be with her adopted father. She also began working at AT&T as an engineer and worked her way up in the company, from which she would retire.

She and her husband, Robert, both enjoyed being private pilots, flying several Cessnas over the years, and even having the opportunity to test pilot a few experimental aircraft. They also enjoyed shark fishing that, despite Jeannete’s short stature, she was very formidable to any shark that bit her hook.
Jeannete was a sweet-tempered lady, remembered both for her kindness and her resolve. She will be dearly missed.
Jeannete is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert, and her son, Sam.
She is survived by her son, Maynard Peterie of Bolivar, MO and her daughter Kathy McMullen of Monument, CO. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Joseph of Lincoln, NE and Stephanie of Monument, CO, as well as her great-grandchildren Maggie, Quinton, Delaney, and Finley.
