Jeanne Rene Harmon (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Jeanne Rene Bench Harmon, age 74 of Rogersville, Missouri, passed away in her home on Monday, January 2, 2023. She was born January 20, 1948 in Lebanon, Missouri to William Oscar Bench and Mary Elsie Bench.
She was married to Kenneth Harmon and together they shared years of happiness and trials. They were there for each other no matter the circumstances.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Vic Kincheloe.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Harmon, of the home; her daughter, Reena Maples and her husband, Jake of Niangua, Missouri; four grandchildren, Kason Newman and his wife, Alex of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Larra Newman and wife Sarah of Springfield, Missouri, Elvin Kincheloe of Springfield, Missouri and Dylan Maples of Ozark, Missouri; her sister, Joyce Monnie of Brownfield, Missouri; two brothers, Bud Bench of San Antonio, Texas and Terry Bench and his wife, Teresa of Lebanon, Missouri.
Jeanne was raised in Lebanon, Missouri and moved to Springfield, Missouri when she was 38 years old. She later married Kenneth Harmon and moved to Rogersville, Missouri.
She had a full career in bookkeeping and accounting at Henry’s in Springfield. She earned her G.E.D. later in life.
Jeanne served as a Sunday School teacher at Brownfield Baptist Church in Lebanon, Missouri when she lived in Lebanon. She loved cooking and baking. She also enjoyed being outdoors enjoying nature. She liked bird watching and growing her flowers.
She was a talented singer, played the piano and liked reading her Bible.
Jeanne was the kind of person you could go to for sound advice. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
