Jeff A. Cano (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Jeffery “Jeff” Allan Cano, age 49, of Urbana, Missouri, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri with the love of his life, Angie by his side.
Jeff was born on January 5, 1975, in Mendota, Illinois to Lowell Albert and Josephine (Cano) Dotson. From an early age, hard work was instilled in Jeff. He helped his dad and brother chop and haul wood. Most of his life, he was a truck driver. His last job was as a dump truck driver for Dallas County Road and Bridge. He loved this job and the people he was fortunate to work with.
On July 23, 2001, Jeff was united in marriage to Angela “Angie” Sutton. She was the love of his life. Together, they had Zoey. Zoey was Jeff’s pride and joy. He loved his girls more than anything in the world. Jeff and Angie built their life together in Urbana, Missouri near Angie’s family. They spent as much time with family as possible and always looked forward to the Thursday night family meals. Jeff had the most contagious smile and laugh, one that he passed on to his beloved Zoey. He was a hard guy to make mad, in fact he was only ever mildly irritated. Jeff was always a bright spot in the room and ready to joke around. Jeff loved to see his family happy, safe, and loved. He was an all-around amazing person who will be dearly missed by all who loved him. As Jeff would say, Ditto and this is not goodbye, just see you later.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents Lowell and Josephine Dotson and his mother and father-in-law, Charlie and Jane Sutton. He is survived by his wife, Angie Cano and daughter Zoey, brother Robert Cano, brothers and sisters in laws Debbie and Jason Whipple, Stephan and Karla Sutton, Gerald and Jenny Sutton, and Charlene and Charles Wilson, nieces and nephews Brett Whipple, Taylor and Cody Croan, McKenzie Sutton, Tyler Sutton, Jacob Wilson, Emily Wilson, Katelin Sutton, Victor Sutton, Alyssa Sallis, Anthony Cano, Dominique Cano, Zachary Cano, and Jacob Cano, great nieces and nephews Brianna Gonzales, Robert Sallis Jr., Elizabeth Sallis, Isaac Cano, and Crystal Martinez, as well as extended family and many friends.
