Jeff Chadd (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Our family is heartbroken to announce the death of Jeffery William Chadd, who passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021 from covid complications.
Jeff was born to William (Bill) Chadd and Cyndee (Chadd) Ratledge on November 14, 1970, in Great Bend, Kansas. Jeff grew up in Buffalo, Missouri, graduating in 1989. After graduation, he moved to Dallas, Texas, pursuing his degree from the Art Institute of Dallas, before returning to live in Buffalo.
Jeff became an entrepreneur during 2004, when he helped open and became owner of Empire Computers. This endeavor became a commitment he has thoroughly enjoyed and shared with the community. He spoke often of how blessed he was to have so many trust and use his services for small or large projects.
For the last year, he has enjoyed working in Springfield as a new endeavor. His new friendships made during this time were precious to him.
Jeff is preceeded in death by his father, William Chadd, uncle Gery Chadd, aunt Judy (Chadd) Vavrick, grandmother Sylvia Chadd-Langer, grandfather Floyd (Jake) Chadd, and grandfather Donald (Don) Clary.
Jeff is survived by his mother, Cyndee Ratledge of Buffalo, MO; older brother Shawn Clark (Jennifer) Fresno, CA; younger sister Heather (Ratledge) Gilsten (Charles); step-sister Stephanie Ratledge of San Diego, CA, Jerry Ratledge of Great Bend, KS; grandmother Evelyn Clary Buffalo, MO; nephews Quentin Gilsten and Ian Clark; niece Ariel Clark; aunt Betty Chadd-Seth of Los Angeles, CA, aunt Shirley Chadd of Highlands Ranch, CO; cousins Melia (Chadd) Sharkey of Highlands Ranch, CO and Cameron Dennis of Fountain, CO.
Cremation services provided by Cantlon Otterness & Viets funeral home with a private interment of ashes at Memorial Gardens of Memory.
