Jeffrey 's Obituary
Jeffrey Joe Heldenbrand, son of Joe Albert and Wilma Mae Nitchals Heldenbrand, was born, December 31, 1956 in Des Moines, Iowa. He departed this life, Thursday, April 5, 2007 in his home in Camdenton, Missouri at the age of fifty years, three months and five days. On November 11, 2005 at Ha Ha Tonka State Park in Camdenton, he was united in marriage to Linda Ann Oglesby. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his loving wife Linda of the home; a son, Jason Heldenbrand, currently serving in Iraq; a daughter, Sarah Kern and husband Zach of Grimes, Iowa; a grandson, Colton Kern; his mother, Wilma Heldenbrand of Des Moines, Iowa; two sisters, Bea Baker and husband John of Colfax, Iowa and Carla Hervey of Hedrick, Iowa; a brother, Lew Heldenbrand of Prole, Iowa; three step-sons, Matthew Brittian and wife April of Ames, Iowa; Daniel Oglesby and Dakota Oglesby both of Collins, Iowa; a step-granddaughter, Savannah Brittian and many other relatives and friends. Jeff was raised in the Des Moines, Iowa area and after school served his country in the U.S. Navy. He later returned to Iowa where he worked in the construction field, building harvest stores, installing solar panels and doing siding work. He moved to the lake area in 1998 where he worked in commercial landscaping and was employed by Cedar Heights Construction. He was a proud member of “The Vikings” at The Door bar in Camdenton, where he spent time hanging out with his friends. He was also a big football and NASCAR fan. In his spare time, he enjoyed going for rides in the country, observing the natural beauty at the lake. Jeff will be missed greatly for his love and wit with his family and friends. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2007, in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
