Jeffrey Wray (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Jeffrey David Wray was born April 13th, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio.
He was the son of Louis and Ruth Wray. After graduating high school in Columbus, he started working with J.C. Penney in their warehouse. He received and accepted a promotion to help work in a warehouse in Kansas City in 1976. There he met the mother of his boys, Shannon and Chad. From then on Jeff worked many different types of jobs but, it was all around his number one priority, taking care of his sons. In 1989, he moved to the lake and started a security business. The Lake of the Ozarks was home for him and the boys. He took pride in being a father, grandfather and a personal friend to anyone he met. He was easy to talk to because he was a great listener. Lastly, he loved to make people laugh and laugh with them. Jeff had a heart for anyone in need and would do anything he could to help.
He is survived by his sons, Shannon Wray (Melinda Roderick) of Camdenton, MO and Chadwick Wray (Rachel Wray) of New Haven, MO. His sister Janice Wray that still lives in Fort Worth, TX. His 6 grand children; Riley Wray, Lewis Wray, Gabriel Hunter, Grace Smith-Wray, Lucas Wray and Olivia Roderick.
A celebration of life will take place at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 24th, 2021 at Jubilee Church at the Lake,342 State Hwy 42, Kaiser, MO 65047.
A meal will be provided following the service for family and friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
