Jennifer Crisp (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Jennifer Elaine Crisp, daughter of Johnny and Virginia Woodard Crisp, was born June 10, 1974, in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Monday, April 25, 2016, in Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of forty-one years, ten months, and fifteen days.
Jennifer is survived by a daughter, Elaina Hicks, of Hannibal, Missouri; a son, Matthew Hicks, of Lebanon, Missouri; her father, Johnny Crisp, of Lebanon, Missouri; her mother, Virginia Crisp, of Lebanon, Missouri; two brothers, Michael Crisp, and his wife, Stephanie, and Geoff Crisp, and his wife, Melissa, all of Lebanon, Missouri; a sister, Melissa Goans, and her husband, Jeff, of Lebanon, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Lebanon, and graduated from Lebanon High School in the Class of 1992. For the next several years, she was a devoted homemaker and was a loving mother to her children. She then attended the University of Missouri St. Louis Honors College, before transferring to Evangel University in Springfield. She currently was a member of the National Honor Society at Evangel while studying for a degree in Psychology.
Jennifer had professed her faith in Christ and was an active member of Community Baptist Church near Lebanon.
She liked movies of all kinds and was fond of the true “movie experience” including popcorn and all the trimmings. She also enjoyed camping and being outdoors. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed spending time with her children and her nieces and nephews.
Jennifer was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will always cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
A memorial has been established and contributions may be made through the funeral home.
