I am very blessed to have had so many good memories with Jeremiah - especially the ones made a few short years ago when we reconnected. I invited him to church with me and was surprised and very happy that he said he would love to go. I picked him up every Sunday for months, many months - he never once didn't want to go. He soaked it all in and we would go to lunch afterwards and talk - sometimes for a few hours. He had so much inside him that he wanted and needed to share. He was always smiling and could brighten up any room. He was so basic - he just wanted to be loved. One Sunday morning I texted him and told him that because of the snow, I wouldn't be picking him up to go to church and his immediate response was 'we could go sledding!' And he meant it. Now I wish we had gone! He also told me I was 'f'ing awesome' in church and I told him that he wasn't supposed to say that in church, but 'thank you' and that made him giggle. He always had a great giggle. I will miss that boy, who was always a boy at heart. Godspeed Jeremiah, Godspeed.
