Jeremy Brockett (Humansville)'s Obituary
Jeremy Nathan Brockett, 34, of Humansville, Missouri, died Tuesday, September 25, 2018.
After a very chaotic morning due to Aunt Pam, Jeremy Nathan Brockett made his long awaited arrival at 11:10 AM, on April 6, 1984, to the proudest parents ever: Paula Wyers and Andrew Brockett, Jr.
Son was not the only title he wore. Haylie Brockett Seaton, Clayton Edward Zachary, Creedance Cahl Zachary, and Chance Miles Zachary gave him the title of Big Brother. Nephew was the sash he wore to Patty Chaney and Debbie Kline, but there was no one that he loved more than his aunt Pam Duncun. He loved being Uncle Nathan to Korbin Zane Seaton. Dad was the title he wore the proudest for three beautiful girls; Sammy Jo Brockett, Shelby Ann Brocket, and Sara Lynn Brockett.
Nathan grew up on Rains Dairy Farm, where he was the apple of PaPa’s and Nanny’s eye, their pride and joy, their everything. Even after PaPa took his journey to heaven, his Nanny loved him to the day she died.
Nathan went to school at Humansville Public Schools, until he learned everything he thought he needed to know. While growing up west of town, he spent his childhood years showing his hunting dogs, hunting, fishing, playing with his cousins, but most of all, running as his PaPa’s sidekick. When you didn’t find him doing any of the above, he could be found fastened to the hip of Randy Lee, AKA brother, getting into God only knows what kind of trouble.
After childhood Nathan met the love of his life, Jessi Ray Tarwater, where they started their lives together, and had the three girls that called him daddy. That love story was a book within itself.
On September 25, 2018, his PaPa, Paul Edward Rains, and his Nanny, Geraldine Marie Rains, while strolling the streets paved in gold, received a phone call to report to the Pearly Gares. There was a special loved one they needed to meet. After setting an extra plate at the table, away they went to find that an opioid overdose had taken Nathan’s life. The battle of addiction had taken another young life. Nathan’s battle was over.
Burial to follow at Tinker Cemetery.
