Jerry G. Allen (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Jerry Granville Allen, son of Alva Everett and Helen Margaret Lacy Allen, was born August 19, 1944, in Grove, Oklahoma. He departed this life Saturday, March 23, 2019, in his home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-four years, seven months, and four days.
On November 12, 1970, he was united in marriage to Lynda Rose Rojas, and they shared the last forty-eight years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jimmy Allen; and a sister, Elwanda Jean Allen.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Lynda, of the home; four daughters, Kimberly Strain, of Redmond, Oregon, Christine Null, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Danielle Wagner, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Natalie Allen, of St. Louis, Missouri; a son, Leonard Allen, of Lebanon, Missouri; a brother, Everett Allen, of the State of Arkansas; a sister, Ramona Allen, of the State of Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. He was Papa to 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Throughout his life, he worked as a truck driver and most recently drove for CVS Pharmacy. Jerry served his country faithfully in the United States Navy from 1961 until his honorable discharge in 1965.
Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
Services will be private with burial in Lebanon Cemetery under direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Lebanon, MO
