Jerry Lee Cobb (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Jerry Lee Cobb was born on June 9, 1969, in Springfield, Missouri to Jearl and Dona (Ray) Cobb. He went to be with the Lord on March 31, 2026, in Springfield, Missouri. Jerry was saved at an old-fashioned revival at McGee Chapel on January 7, 2001. He was raised in Elkland, Missouri. Right out of high school, Jerry married the love of his life, Regina (Weeks) Cobb, three years later they had the light of their life, Jerry Steven Cobb. Jerry was very proud of his son and would talk about him to anyone who would listen. Jerry and Regina talked about having more children, Jerry said “I don’t think I can love another child like I love Steven!” Every day he couldn’t wait to get home from work to play with his best buddy Steven. No matter if it was playing in the woods or laying under the yard lights with a fishing pole trying to get the bats to hit it, Jerry did whatever Steven wanted to do. As Steven got older, their time together turned into pranks, practical jokes, and lots of laughs. It was hard for Jerry to think about his son growing up and getting married. All of his worries went away when Steven met Michelle. Jerry knew right away that Michelle would take care of his son and fit right in with their little family. Jerry loved to work and took great pride in his work. When asked if he had any hobbies, Jerry would say “just workin”. Jerry enjoyed getting together on family nights with good food and playing rook. Jerry enjoyed his trips with father-in-law James cutting final dates. These trips always included stops for ice cream somewhere. If you were fortunate enough to know Jerry, you knew he was easy-going, kindhearted, generous, honest, and hard-working. Above all he loved his friends and family with his whole heart. Jerry is survived by his wife of 37 years Regina Cobb, son Jerry Steven Cobb, daughter-in-law Michelle Cobb, all whom he thought the world of, all of the home, father Jearl Cobb (Linda) of Georgia, brother David Cobb (Twyla) of Buffalo, sister dana Cobb (Johnny) of Springfield, numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family whom he loved dearly, and Steven’s best friends whom he considered his own, Krattley and Justin. This wonderful kindhearted man will truly be missed by everyone who knew him. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home, Buffalo with Brother Dusty Armstrong officiating, burial to follow at Macedonia Cemetery, pallbearers will be David Cobb, Dewayne Weeks, Rodney Weeks, Jay Weeks, Mark Pinkley and Blake Gilpin.
