He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was a hard worker and a dedicated employee at Detroit Tool Metal Products for over thirty years.

Jerry loved hunting and fishing and through these hobbies, earned the nickname of J.D. Hawg. He was a big fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and enjoyed watching football at every level. He loved all wildlife and enjoyed watching his “critters”.
Most of all, he loved his family. They were the center of his world. He was a devoted son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. Most weekends you could find him at his parents’ home helping them with whatever needed to be done.
He loved his grandchildren so much and enjoyed being with them at every opportunity. He took great joy in creating lasting memories with them.
His loss is deeply felt by his family and he will be so missed. Yet, we know that he will live on in them, in their memories, and in their love for each other.
