Jerry Ray Manson (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Jerry Ray Manson, 68, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021, at his home in Bolivar, Missouri.
He was born in St. Joseph, Missouri on November 11, 1952 to Hank and Sara (Sherman) Manson.
Jerry married the love of his life, Laurie, on July 3, 1993.
Jerry loved his music(loud), his Harley’s and was an avid traveler. He never met a stranger and made friends wherever he went.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Hank and Sara Manson, his niece, Brooke McKinney and beloved dog, Abella.
He is survived by his wife Laurie; daughters Desarae Eastland/Darrell Rogersville, MO, Molly Mahurin Bentonville, AR; a brother, William Manson/Pam St. Joseph, MO; sisters, Susie Cook/Rusty St. Joseph, MO and Tammy Manson Savannah, MO; his grandchildren, Anayla Spybuck, Bodee Melton, Isam Melton, Dylan Mahurin, Cyrus Mahurin, Diesel Mahurin, Tremae Mahurin, several great-grandchildren; his fur babies Eli and Ophi and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a dinner after the graveside services at Springfield Avenue Café Bolivar, Missouri at 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Humane Society.
Services for Jerry will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 1:30 P.M. at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar. A visitation will be held 30 minutes before the time of service. In lieu of flowers the family would like memorial donations to be made out to the Humane Society.
