Jerry Nutter, Jr. (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Jerry Dale Nutter, Jr., son of Jerry Dale Nutter, Sr. and Leona Stewart Nutter, was born November 30, 1964, in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Saturday, July 28, 2018, in his home, in Richland, Missouri, at the age of fifty-three years, seven months, and twenty-eight days.
On August 16, 2001, he was united in marriage to Rebecca “Becky” Winfrey, and they shared the last sixteen years.
His parents preceded him in death.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Becky, of the home; two daughters, Mikayla Nutter, of Camdenton, Missouri, and Ashley Windes, and her husband, Brandon, of Richland, Missouri; a son, Adam McGoldrick, of Osage Beach, Missouri; a granddaughter, Melody Gilbert; two sisters, Kandy Baudo, and her husband, Jeff, of Camdenton, Missouri, and Lelani Gregory, and her husband, Mark, of Lebanon, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in the Lebanon area, and graduated from Lebanon High School in the Class of 1983. He then attended Southwest Baptist University for one year. Through the years, Jerry had worked at K-Mart, Bear Creek Furniture, Richland Classic Design, Connor’s Express, the Durham Company, and for the last fifteen years at Marine Electric. He and Becky had made their home in Richland for the last several years.
Jerry made his profession of faith in Christ and was baptized into the Church of Christ. He was currently a member of the Montreal Church of Christ.
He was very musically inclined and played several instruments, including the guitar and mandolin. He had played with the New Horizons, the Cadillac Crusaders and in the Lebanon Community Band. He particularly enjoyed bluegrass and gospel music. He enjoyed fishing, eating, and reading Marvel comics, where his favorite was Spiderman. He was very friendly and never met a stranger. His family was very dear to him and he especially enjoyed having time with his daughter and granddaughter.
Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that his family and friends will treasure the wonderful memories he made for them during his lifetime.
