Jerry was a special individual with a love for many things. I know he will be happy to see his mama in heaven. He don’t need the General Lee to fly high now. He is flying with the angels.

Jerry Lee Shaddy-daddy earned the name “The King” with me. He was my favorite movie buddy on Sunday afternoons. And he was one of my favorite people to take a ride with and rock out to Elvis, Pat Benetar or anything on the 80’s rock playlist that I created. One day He was getting frustrated with flipping his grilled cheese. In trying to keep him from getting more frustrated I accidentally asked him a question, “is it a big deal or a sandwich?” He answered without skipping a beat, “it’s a sandwich! Jerry, why are you making it a big deal? Just flip it! You can do it!” Much like imaginary practice swings for a baseball player, jerry began making arm motions to practice flipping the sandwich, jerry hyped himself up and flipped his grilled cheese. I learned so much from that conversation about myself. And The King and I had such a jargon we developed over the years. He is and always will be one of my favorite people on the planet even if he’s up “in Heaven Wit JeSus!” I am blessed. Praying for others who will miss him as I do.
I spent a few years working with jerry took him fishing, swimming, to bbqs, took him to the harley shop to meet my friends. Took jerry to a friend of mine's that lived in the country and he rode a bicycle around. Took Jerry riding in the side car on my motorcycle. Gonna miss him, he without a doubt had a opinion and a personality to go with it. He'll be missed.

I took care of Jerry for a short while & in that time he became one of my most favorite patients/friends I’ve ever had the privilege of taking care of! RIP Jerry Boy your free!!!
Jerry was a truly awesome friend. He was the epitome of being yourself no matter what. He did what he enjoyed and advocated for himself with pure emotion. I knew Jerry for the past 5 years and he was an amazing person. I’ll never forget the time we shared.
