We loved getting to know Dean and Nancy at Harmony Baptist Church. They always showed us what it meant to be a Godly, loving couple.

Nancy, Don (Porky) and I are so sorry on your loss of Dean. You have our sincere sympathy and we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. We would love to be there at the visitation and funeral, however, Porky is having his own health issues. I am so sorry that we can't be there for you. Love Don (Porky) and Karen Mills

I work at McDonald's and I always enjoyed talking to Dean and Nancy. And refilling Deans coffee . Prayers to the family, glad I got to know Dean... Keith
Dean will be missed. He was such a kind and gentle man. Always had a smile and something nice to say even when wasn't feeling well. I'm so sad for his wife and family for his loss. I pray that God will gently go with them through this sorrow.
Love in Christ.

You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

RIP Uncle Dean Will miss you . Charles " Shorty " Thompson .
Our Mom, Caroline Thompson is Dean's sister. One of the best memories is when Uncle Dean was in the Army, he and his family would come and stay with us at our home, when we were kids. All 7 of us looked forward to seeing him, as we thought of him as our Hero. He always took time to pay attention to each of us and was always interested in what we were doing. He had a great sense of humor and liked to play tricks and magic tricks on us. When my brother, David, was going to enlist in the Army in the 60's, he made a trip from Fort Leonard wood, and talked him out of enlisting, because he told my brother that after basic training, he would be shipped out straight to Viet Nam. We were all very relieved. Like I said, Uncle Dean was the Thompson kids Hero.
