Jessie Gaynell Glass (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Jessie Gaynell (Nicholas) Glass was born September 6, 1916 on the family farm to George M. and Rilda Vanse Nicholas. She was 104 years, 4 months and 22 days of age when she left for heaven.
Jessie attended Salt City Business College in Hutchinson, KS. For two years. She worked in Dallas County Extension Agriculture and Farm Security Administration before retiring.
She was married to Orville Glass on December 10, 1943 and to this union two daughters were born, Marilyn E. and Judith A.
She professed her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and was baptized at the Bible Baptist Church in 1960.
She was preceded in death by her husband Orville; her parents; her brothers, George Dudley, Roy, Wayne, Junior, Dean and Dale Lee; her sisters, Faye, Virginia Opal, and Bonnie Ethel.
She is survived by her brother, Terry; daughters, Marilyn Mattox and husband John, and Judy Nimmo husband Lester; and four grandchildren, Eddie, Nicholas, Tiffany, and Bethany.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 2, 2021 in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo, Missouri under the direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo, Missouri
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Tuesday in the chapel.
